How do I order my stationery?

How many invitations should I order?

A simple guide is to halve your guest list as most invitations are addressed to a couple, however we do recommend to write up a final guest list before placing your order. It's also a good idea to order at least five spares just in case - any leftovers can be kept as keepsakes!

When should I order my stationery?

We recommend ordering Save the Dates as soon as your wedding date and venue are locked in. Wedding invitations should be posted around 2-3 months before the big day, therefore should be ordered 5-6 months before the wedding just to be safe. On the day stationery, such as wedding menus and programs should be ordered a minimum of 6 weeks before the wedding to ensure they are delivered on time. 

Do you have a minimum quantity order?

Yes, there is a minimum order of 40 per stationery item.

Can I get my money back if I need to cancel my order?

All of our prints are made to order and customised to suit you and your wedding day, therefore we cannot offer refunds. Please choose carefully when placing your order. 

Can I order a printed sample before making a purchase?

Printed samples for the collection are available for purchase and can be ordered here. This will give you an idea of the quality and finish to expect if you order one of our designs. Please note: samples are not customised with your details, you will receive the stationery as it appears in the photo gallery. 


Timeline

How long will it take to receive my order?

The Collection - Please ensure you order any stationery from the collection at least six weeks prior to the date you wish to post your invitations to avoid disappointment. Production and delivery takes approximately 3-4 weeks depending on the size of your order and current work load. 

Custom Designs - Please allow a minimum of eight weeks from initial concept to post. Due to the additional time required for custom projects, we only accept a limited number each year. Please enquire for availabilities. 

Are you able to do rush orders?

Please see how to order for more information. Rush orders are only available for designs from the collection and will incur a 20% surcharge.

How are my invitations delivered?

If you live locally you can arrange for pickup. All other orders will be posted via Australia Post registered mail which usually takes around 2-5 business days. Postage is charged at $20 - $40 depending on the size of your order and includes tracking, insurance and signature on delivery for peace of mind.

 

Design Features 

What type of card do you print on?

We offer a variety of different high quality card options, however our core selection consists of the following:

  • Milkshake 308gsm - a lovely smooth stock with a matte white finish 
  • Eggshell 300gsm - a versatile matte card with soft fabric finish 
  • White Linen 315gsm - a luxurious stock with a linen texture finish
  • Recycled Brown 216gsm - a recycled stock with a textured matt finish
  • Kraft 283gsm - luscious, natural and raw brown kraft card

Do all of your invitations come with envelopes?

Yes, all our invitations come with an envelope inclusive of the cost. All invitations and envelopes will be delivered to the customer bundled and unsealed.

Do you offer envelope printing? 

Yes, we offer envelope printing for all invitations. Simply select the envelope printing option when adding each item to the cart. 

Can you print double sided?

Yes, double sided printing is available at an additional cost. If this option is not listed on the item you wish to purchase, please contact us for a quote. 


Design Customisation

Can I make any changes to one of the designs in the collection?

Absolutely! All colour, wording and font choice customisations are included in the cost. Alterations to card stocks, envelopes and printing techniques are available at an additional cost. Please contact us for a quote. 

Do you offer custom designs?

Yes we do! Simply complete the stationery request form and we’ll email you a quote within two business days. Due to the additional time required for custom projects, we only accept a limited number each year. Please enquire for availabilities.

Where is Willow based?

Willow is a boutique design studio based in Victoria, Australia. We currently offer our designs nationally with plans to open an international store soon. Stay tuned!

Is your stationery professionally designed and printed? 

Absolutely! We pride ourselves on creating beautiful designs with high quality finishes - it’s all in the details. Our lead designer Laura, has a Bachelors Degree in Design and great attention to detail. You could say she’s a bit of a perfectionist. As for our printing, it’s all done right here in Australia, using only the best high quality card stocks and materials found internationally.

We’re not just another one of those big print companies that churns out 1,000 invitations a day (at low quality). We're a small business that relies on our customer’s great feedback and good word of mouth.
